in august 2024 I had the opportunity to attend to a creative retreat in mazunte hosted by one of my most influential artist, carla cervantes and monica figueras -experience hosted my teracay. they have a very unique duo exploration, and the idea of the retreat was learing from their ways from creation, but also us as participants being able to create work for ourselves. i had the biggest honor of all, of attending the retreat with one of my dearest friends, amalia triana, which ironically we happended to have as well these duo dynamic creation. and ever since we have been exploring and creating pieces on the duo’s name.
lineas, was our first educated exploration, but ever since we understood how we could cooperate and work together, we understood the dynamics of it, and havent stopped since.
so this is just a small piece of our exploration as a duo.
